A severe weather warning for fog has been issued by the Met Office for the Isle of Wight this morning (Sunday).
Widespread and locally dense fog is currently being experienced with visibility expected to be reduced to just 50-100 metres in places. Driving conditions are particularly bad with a strong rising sun.
Wightlink’s Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry service is delayed by 15 minutes due to the foggy conditions on the Solent.
The Met Office say the fog will gradually thin and lift into low cloud through the morning.
The warning is in place until 10:00.
