Firefighters tackled a small tree fire caused by a firework in East Cowes last night (Saturday).
1 appliance from the town was mobilised to the grounds of Albert Cottage off York Avenue at around 22:15.
It is understood a small firework display in the area led to a tree catching alight.
No one was injured in the incident.
Last night’s shout was the second tree related fire of the evening for the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, who also attended Calbourne Road near Carisbrooke.
