Firefighters from Newport are this afternoon (Sunday) tackling a fire at a water treatment plant in Shorwell.
Crews were called to the scene on Limerstone Road at around 14:50 with two pumping appliances from Newport Fire Station attending the incident.
The fire has been located in an inlet screen and is being brought under control using a hose reel.
No one has been injured.
