Firefighters from Newport and Ventnor were called out to an aga cooker fire in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday). 2 appliances and an officer were mobilised to a residential address on Undercliff Drive in Niton at 03:00. The aga fire was tackled using a dry powder extinguisher and the electrics were isolated. Post-incident safety activity was carried out and the stop message was received at 03:40.
