The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have responded to a small cooker fire in East Cowes this evening (Saturday).
Appliances from East Cowes and Newport were mobilised to a residential address on Yarborough Road at around 18:55.
It was discovered that the fire was out upon arrival of the first crews on scene.
Both appliances have stood down from the incident and are returning to station.
