Firefighters from Newport have this evening (Monday) tackled a campervan blaze on the outskirts of Havenstreet.
The single crew were called to the link road between Combley Road and Briddlesford Road at around 18:40 following reports of a vehicle well alight.
An old-style campervan, which Island Echo understands has been parked at the location for some time, has been gutted.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
No persons have been injured in the incident.
