A fresh new experience is heading to Fever nightclub in Newport with the introduction of all-new Friday nights.
Adding to the already hugely successful Saturday events run at the club, the Coppins Bridge venue is introducing a new Friday night line-up, opening earlier and featuring karaoke to get the party started. This will be followed by an exciting mix of the best music to keep you dancing all night long.
On the first Friday of every month, Fever is giving local talent the chance to take over the club and showcase their skills. Ryde-based group Pressure is running a drum and bass night on 3rd February, with Cowes-based Shack Promotions taking over the club on 3rd March for a night of hard house, trance and old-school vibes.
Leading the change is new General Manager, Luke Bontoft:
“I am excited to bring a fresh new experience to Fever nightclub. We want to be the go-to destination for music lovers on the Isle of Wight, and by introducing karaoke nights and local talent takeover events, we are confident that we can do just that.
“We’re looking to move in a new direction and let people know that the club is open to all new ideas, and is pursuing events for all ages 18+.”
The Island’s had many an active nightspot over the years with such names as Zanies, The Balcony, The Fort, Livingstones and more providing memories for many. Fever is hoping that this new venture can recreate some of the most popular nights of music for the audiences that lived them, and make the club the go-to place for dance nights on the Island.

Not sure you could ever recreate nights in Zanies.
