2 bundles of joy were welcomed into the world at St Mary’s Hospital on Christmas Day.
The first to arrive on the labour ward at 07:47 was Delilah-Rose Ann Furmidge, a daughter for Casey Furmidge and Linton Cider, who weighed in at 4Ib 3oz.
Next to arrive was Ellie-Mae, a daughter for Hope Giles, who arrived at 10:30, weighing 7lb 11oz.
A spokesperson for the hospital has said:
“The team at St. Mary’s is proud to have supported welcoming Delilah-Rose and Ellie-Mae into the world, and wishes them and their parents all the very best for the future”.
It means that in the past 15 years, since 2010, a total of 23 boys and 23 girls have been born on Christmas Day – 25th December.
