A festival goer from Staffordshire has pleaded not guilty to the alleged sexual assault of a security guard at last year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
47-year-old Jonathan William, of Chase Road in Burntwood, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday (5th May), where he pleaded not guilty to a single charge of sexual assault of a male.
It’s alleged that Mr Williams grabbed the genitals of a male working at the gate of the Pink Moon Meadows campsite.
The court heard the defendant’s wish for the matter to be put before a jury at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
The case will next be heard on 8th June.
