Ferenc ‘Frank’ Schlepp secured a silver medal at the British National Bench Press Championship in Cardiff.
He has now officially qualified to compete at the World Championship in Norway this May and the European Championship in Malta this September.
Frank will represent both the United Kingdom and the Isle of Wight on the international stage, bringing well-deserved recognition to his local community. While powerlifting is still growing on the Isle of Wight, Frank hopes his achievements will inspire the development of a local powerlifting community.
