A section of the Newport to Wootton cycle path has been closed to allow SGN to carry out emergency gas works.
The closed section of Footpath 214 connects the Crematorium Road to Park Road.
A gas leak has been identified in the area and work is underway to rectify the issue.
The closure has been in place since Friday and is valid for a maximum period of 21 days.
