EMERGENCY FOOTPATH CLOSURE FOR LONGDOWN STEPS IN VENTNOR

Longdown Steps, Ventnor Footpath 114g from its junction with South Street to its junction with St Catherine Street for a distance of 63 metres. Scottish and Southern Electric to restore service.

The diversion will affect these streets: Victoria Street, High Street, West Street.

Diversion route(s) will be signed at the time of closure.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.

From 11:47 hours on 13th January 2020, for a maximum period of five days or until the works are complete, whichever is sooner.

Not ‘another’ overload? What with the low energy bulbs, smart meters, one would think people would be using ‘less’.
Mind the growing lights, fans, heaters to dry ‘the crop’ take an awful lot of energy.
