UPDATED: Emergency services are this afternoon (Saturday) attending a road traffic incident on Military Road.
A cyclist is understood to have been involved in the incident, that occurred shortly after 11:35. It is believed the cyclist has fallen from the bicycle, although it is not known if another vehicle has been involved.
UPDATED @ 13:24 – The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has airlifted the female patient to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
The extent of her injuries is currently unknown.
*It was initially reported by Police that the incident was on Military Road. Further information has clarified that the incident occurred on Hunny Hill in nearby Brighstone.
