Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision at Afton near Freshwater this afternoon (Sunday).
A single vehicle has collided with a tree near to the junction with Middle Road, although no one is thought to have been seriously injured. The incident happened at around 16:00.
Island Echo understands a local car enthusiasts group were enjoying a drive-out when the incident occurred. The car is said to have been attempting a ‘drift’.
The road remains open.
