Fire crews from Newport and East Cowes were called out to a property fire during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
At just gone 04:00, 2 appliances from Newport and 1 from East Cowes were mobilised by fire control to reports of a residential fire on Fairlee Road.
The aerial ladder platform from Newport was also turned out.
The fire, located in the kitchen, was quickly brought under control using 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
Crews remained on scene for around an hour.
