Emergency services have dealt with a road traffic collision on Lushington Hill, Wootton overnight.
Police, ambulance and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at around 02:20 this morning (Sunday) after a vehicle was involved in a collision with a garden wall lining the carriageway, injuring two.
Fire crews from Newport and East Cowes helped free the occupants – two females – from the car. Both were taken to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The road remained closed for sometime, however has since reopened to traffic.
