A 30-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving following a crash outside a primary school in the West Wight. Police were called to reports of a 2-car crash at the junction of Weston Lane and Summers Lane in Totland – just metres away from St Saviour’s Primary School – at 14:18 this afternoon (Wednesday). Officers responded on blue lights and sirens, arriving on scene as parents began to gather for the afternoon school pick up. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. 1 of the drivers involved in the crash – a 30-year-old woman from Freshwater – has been taken into custody at Newport Police Station on suspicion of drug driving.
