Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy suffered injuries to his face after an being assaulted in Wroxall last week.
The incident occurred on Clarence Road, between 14:30 and 15:00 on Friday 13rd March.
It was reported to Police that the boy was attempting to cross Clarence Road when a man has stopped his car, got out of the vehicle, and shouted aggressively before punching the boy on the right side of his face. The boy suffered a bruised right jaw, cut to his ear, and chipped tooth and is recovering at home.
As part of our enquiries, we would like to speak anyone in the area at the time of the incident, including a man reportedly driving a white Ford Fiesta who Police believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
He is described as:
- White
- Between 25 to 35-years-old
- Under 6ft tall
- Slim to medium build
- With a beard
