A woman escaped serious injury when she rolled her car onto its side on a quiet residential street in Brighstone yesterday evening (Tuesday).
It was just gone 18:30 that emergency services were alerted to the incident on Wilberforce Road in the quiet West Wight village of Brighstone.
Police, paramedics and firefighters arrived on scene to find a red Mini on its side.
Island Echo understands the driver hit the curb, which forced the vehicle to roll.
Thankfully, no serious injuries were sustained. The woman walked away with minor injuries.
It has been a busy 24 hours on the roads, with a serious road traffic collision involving an e-bike in Ryde, and another vehicle ended up on its roof near Ventnor this morning.
