A boat reported to be drifting in the Solent sparked a call out for Ryde Inshore Rescue this morning (Saturday).
Ryde Rescue 1 was launched at around 08:40 to reports of an unaccompanied grey inflatable drifting off No Man’s Land fort.
Once on scene the volunteer lifeboat crew were able to ascertain that what was reported to be a dinghy was intact a RIB, thought to be from Sea View Sailing Club.
