Coastguard Rescue Officers from The Needles and Ventnor have successfully rescued a dog from the bottom of a cliff in Niton this evening (Thursday).
HM Coastguard were alerted to the plight of man’s best friend following a fall in the area of Undercliff Drive to the East of Niton at around 18:35. The call for help prompted the launch of a technical rescue.
The uninjured dog has now been reunited with its grateful owner thanks to the efforts of the Coastguard Rescue Teams.
