Nearly 70 members of staff at Isle of Wight Distribution will be swapping their black T-shirts for a yellow T-shirt depicting a large sunflower today (Friday) in aid of Go Yellow Day.
Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s annual fundraiser sees individuals and businesses alike come together to raise vital funds for the hospice.
This year, the team at Isle of Wight Distribution have decided to don yellow T-shirts and put a sunflower on each delivery van to spread the message far and wide across the Island. The Merstone-based company deliver over 4,000 parcels a day, so will certainly be racking up the miles and ensuring everyone knows it’s Go Yellow Day!
Chris Hall, Commerical Director at Isle of Wight Distribution, says:
“Raising of awareness of the work done by the hospice is extremely important, especially this year as, unfortunately, 2 members of our staff are suffering from cancer at the moment. This makes Go Yellow Day all the more important to us”.
The T-shirts have been supplied, free of charge, by Rapanui.
