David Randini’s popular free seafront entertainment is set to return this Summer. The magician will be performing on Mondays on the Green East Cowes, near the Shoreside Cafe and Wednesdays on the Green by the Appley Cafe, Appley Beach. All shows start at 11:00 (weather permitting). These shows have been a main stay of summer activities since the early 90s. At the beginning of the pandemic, it was claimed that David would attract too big a crowd for public safety. Young and old are invited to these ever popular free shows with David’s own brand of humour and magic. David says:
“I started these shows in the early 90s when the Punch and Judy man booked by the council unexpectedly left the Island. I stepped in, but little did I know that I would be performing them 30 years later. “In a recent article in the Independent Newspaper, they stated that 51% of people could not afford activities for their children this summer. We are so lucky to have so many free events on the Island, like carnivals and parades as well as large events like Chale, Garlic and Wolverton. So, it’s great to put on something free this summer. “I invite everyone to support and enjoy this free summer entertainment.”

David make the Ferry Companies run a better service and
reduce their fares, also make the Floating Bridge work.
That’s what I call magic.
Lol
But honestly I have seen you perform, you do a great
job.
