Members of Ryde’s CrossFit Incursion will be taking on the challenge of completing 60,000 burpees in aid of Mountbatten IW next month. On Saturday 3rd August, from 09:30, around 70 people will take to the beach at Appley to raise much-needed funds for the local hospice. It is hoped that over £1,000 can be raised with a JustGiving page established to collect donations at https://www.justgiving.com/page/crossfitincursions60000burpees. Camillia Barton, co-owner of CrossFit Incursion, has said:
“60,000 burpees is a lot of burpees to complete, even as a team of around 70 people, and some people will have 1,000 to do! So please come down and cheer us all on that morning and bring family and friends!”
