Firefighters tackled a small property fire in Apse Heath during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Three appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service from Newport, Sandown and Shanklin were called to reports of a fire at a residential property on the A3056 at around 02:40.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also called to the scene.
