Creationz Dance Academy in East Cowes has been named Dance School of the Year 2025/2026 – South of England by the Prestige Awards.
The accolade came as a complete surprise to the academy, which was unaware it had been nominated. The nomination was submitted anonymously, reflecting what has been described as strong support from the local community.
Led by Principal Zoe Langridge, the East Cowes-based school has built a reputation for providing an inclusive and nurturing environment for dancers of all ages and abilities across the Isle of Wight.
Zoe Langridge, Principal, has said:
“We are completely overwhelmed.
“To find out not only that we were nominated, but that we had actually won, is incredible. This wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing dancers and their families – their dedication and support are truly the heartbeat of Creationz.”
Creationz Dance Academy focuses on both technical excellence and personal development, encouraging confidence, creativity and community spirit among its students.

The Prestige Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate outstanding service, excellence in their field and a positive impact on their community. The title places Creationz among the recognised dance academies across the South of England.
Zoe Langridge, Principal, has said:
“We are incredibly proud to represent the Isle of Wight and to bring this recognition to our local community.
“This award is a celebration of every dancer, parent, and supporter who has helped us grow. We are excited to continue inspiring and empowering our dancers every step of the way.”
