Copse Lane in Freshwater is to be closed on Monday morning for repair works by Southern Water.
The West Wight road will be closed from its junction with Redlake Road to its junction with Kings Manor Farm – a distance of 527 metres.
Motorists will be diverted via Hill Lane, Colwell Road, The Avenue, Avenue Road, High Street, Tennyson Road, School Green Road and Hooke Hill.
The closure, implemented by DTM Traffic Management, is expected to come into force at 09:00 on Monday 10th February for a maximum period of 5 days.
