Copse Lane in Freshwater has been closed this afternoon (Monday) to allow for repair work to take place on a burst water main.
The road is closed from its junction with Redlake Road for a distance of 516 metres.
Southern Vectis Route 7 buses are diverting and are unable to serve bus stops from Norton Green to Hooke Hill.
Motorists are being diverted via Hill Lane, Colwell Road, The Avenue, Avenue Road, High Street, Tennyson Road.
