A concert by folk duo ‘Pukastar’ drew a full congregation to the Holy Cross Church in Binstead last Saturday afternoon.
Having thoroughly enjoyed a blend of folk, Celtic and classical songs and music and excellent harp, guitar and other instrument playing, the audience were treated to homemade cakes and refreshments.
Over £300 was raised for the church funds.
Organiser Sandra Ferguson said:
“To get the concert bringing music back into the Church after the lockdowns, and seeing the pleasure it brought, is a great tonic for us all”.
