FOUND: Concerns are growing for a missing 14-year-old Island girl who hasn’t been seen in over 15 hours.
Amy Cantelo has gone missing from her home in the West Wight and was last seen around 19:00 last night (Tuesday).
Amy’s family believe she may be in the West Wight area still with a 21-year-old man who is known to her. The man, who Island Echo are not identifying at this current time, is understood to be carrying a small camping tent and a duvet in a bag.
Amy was last seen wearing a Grey hooded top, Dark Blue jeans and Black trainers.
Amy’s parents have grown increasingly concerned as the hours have passed, prompting a Facebook appeal to be launched at 02:00 this morning.
UPDATE @ 10:20 – Missing Amy Cantelo has been found safe and well this morning after a member of the public spotted the young teen and notified her family.
Police have been notified of the disappearance and officers from Hampshire Constabulary are searching for the missing teen.
