The grounds of Dover Park Primary School were filled with laughter, sunshine and a sea of soft toys recently, as the school hosted its second annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic.
Families were invited to step inside the school gates to share a picnic lunch with their children on the main school field and the event was a fantastic success.
Blessed with spectacular summer weather, the event saw a fantastic turnout.
Parents, grandparents, friends, carers and younger siblings basked in the glorious sunshine alongside the pupils, creating a vibrant and relaxed community atmosphere.
Jon Kirby, Headteacher, says:
“It was lovely to see so many families joining their children on the field.
“The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and enjoyable. Events like this highlight the strength of our school community and the way we come together as one big family.”

With the sun shining and spirits high, the event gave the whole school community a well-deserved opportunity to connect, celebrate and make lasting memories in the final half term of the school year.
