The cold weather is making a return with gritters set to be deployed across the Isle of Wight tonight (Wednesday), amid forecast conditions.
Island Roads says that road surface temperatures are predicted to fall to near 0c overnight, which has led to a decision to grit the road network.
The fleet of gritters will be treating the usual routes from 20:00.
Motorists are advised to take additional care across the Island.
