UPDATED: A search is underway for two females in the water this evening (Thursday) at the mouth of Wootton Creek.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team and Cowes RNLI lifeboat are in attendance at Woodside Bay, where it is reported two females have been spotted in difficulty in the water.
UPDATE @ 19:50 – Following an extensive search, the incident has been brought to a close.
No persons have been located and both rescue resources have returned to station.
