Lidl is recalling its Simply Grated Cheddar cheese because it may contain small pieces of plastic.
The recall notice says that the possible presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat.
Customers are being urged to check their fridges for the following product:

Other Simply products and Best Before Dates are not affected by this recall.
