Whitecroft & Barton Sports overcame closest rivals West Wight at Camp Road to go top in Harwoods-Renault Division 1.
Aidan Sainsbury opened the scoring for the away side in the 25th minute, with Fin Kalaker adding a second for WaB 7 minutes later to give the visitors a 0-2 half time lead.
West Wight battled hard in the 2nd half but were denied until the 84th minute when Josh Daley pulled a goal back for the home team. W&B held out for the remaining 6 minutes plus injury time to take all 3 points.

WaB’s win leaves them unbeaten at the top of Wessex Division 1 with 10 points from 4 games. West Wight fall to 3rd with 9 points from 4 games.

The remaining 6 goals came courtesy of a brace from Liam Harper and further goals from Rob Gee, Harry Mulholland, Jack Groundsell and Charlie Urry. Ventnor’s victory sees the South Wight side go second.

Josh Gwilliam and Jordi and Robbie Shepherd were on target for the away side as Newport held Pan in the Newport derby at Clatterford Rec.
Ryde Saints 6-1 Newchurch
An Alfie Donovan hat trick and further strikes from Alfie Bradley, Jack Maloney and Elliot Wilson saw Saints knock six past Newchurch, with the evergreen Keith Rust scoring the away side’s consolation goal.
Sandown & Lake 3-0 East Cowes Vics Reserves
Shay Dixon, Rob Iley and Louis Day were the scorers for Sandown in their 3-goal victory over Vics at the Bay CE School.
Seaview 0-4 ECS
Taylor Holmes bagged a brace and Joel Porter and Ray Richardson grabbed a goal apiece as East Cowes Sports put 4 past Seaview. This was a distinct improvement for Seaview who lost the corresponding fixture the previous season by a 21-goal margin.
