A car has sustained significant damage after colliding with the entrance way of a house in Newport this afternoon (Sunday).
A supporting pillar at the front of St Cross House has been demolished and scattered across the road in the unusual incident, which took place sometime before 14:00 on St Cross Lane off Crocker Street.
Police are in attendance at the scene. Thankfully no one has been injured.
It remains unclear how the vehicle came to collide with the building.
