Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club’s Ladies’ Captain, Connie Huntington, and her Vice-Captain, Chris Gould, vied for honour in the annual Captain vs Vice Captain Greensomes Stableford on Tuesday (2nd November).
At the end of a very enjoyable day, it was the Lady Captain’s team who won overall and were awarded the salver.
Prizes were given for the best team scores, with Alix Goddard and Ronnie Hirst topping the Captain’s team with 44 points and, on the Vice Captain’s side, the winning pair were the Vice-Captain herself, Chris Gould and Geraldine Parmenter with 40 points.
Nearest the pin on the 9th was won by Lillian Bushby.
