Southern Vectis says it’s Route 7 buses are delayed.
UPDATE @ 21:40 – Middle Road has now reopened following recovery of the vehicles involved.
Southern Vectis are returning to a normal route.

Until we stop numpties overtaking our roads
will never be safe.
Too many vehicles are in a rush, what’s the rush
anyone would think they have somewhere important
to go.
I must be psychic, but I knew before opening the article that you would pop up to moan about numpties, your favourite word. Please try to think of some new insults, it’s getting a bit tedious now.
I wouldn’t need too if there were no selfish uneducated
B’stards who don’t know right from wrong when driving.
“DON’T OVERTAKE OTHER VEHICLES”
He can’t. It’s like Tourette’s
It’s called common sense.
So you would make overtaking illegal would you?
The only explanation I can think of for your truly ludicrous statements is that you get some kind of a kick out of the reactions you get.
How can Roads be safe if Morons are driving
head on towards you.
Grow up, another island Numpty.
Well said. No one is so important that they need to act like complete twerps on the roads. Arrogant fools. Just slow down and relax.
The sooner driverless cars enter Britain the better.
Next year Waymo will have driverless taxis in the UK
the sooner numpties no longer drive their own
vehicles the better.
Waymo driverless vehicles are great, they know how
to handle situations better than vehicles being driven
by people.
Driverless vehicles don’t speed, don’t overtake, don’t
park illegally, don’t drink or drug drive etc etc
They are a win win for everyone.
Bring it on, driverless vehicles are the future and
are much safer for everyone.
More haste, less speed….
The “Slow” driver perhaps should be described as a careful considerate driver (they didn’t crash), unlike the one who did crash, who (I am assuming here) was tailgating, impatient and unable to assess how to overtake carefully, it was beyond his capabilities.
That is a big assumption in the absence of any facts. The slow driver may have been travelling at 10mph. Who knows. Far better to avoid speculation and await evidence.
Still don’t overtake, imagine if trains done the
same.
Lol
