Two separate incidents in the East Wight area have kept fire crews from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service busy overnight.
The first shout came in shortly after 02:30 this morning (Thursday) to reports of a garden fire in Oakfield Road, East Cowes.
One pumping appliance from East Cowes attended the scene, where it was discovered decking and nearby fencing had been damaged in the blaze.
Crews remains on the scene for just under 90 minutes, in what is the second similar fire in East Cowes in the past couple of weeks.
Just half an hour passed before retained crews from Sandown Fire Station were called to assist property owners in Carpenters Road on the outskirts of St Helens at 04:20.
Firefighters pumped water from a house after a water pipe in the roof space had cracked, causing the property to flood.
Thankfully, no serious damage has been sustained and crews left the scene shortly before 06:00.
