A busy road through Havenstreet has been closed to traffic this morning (Friday) with diversions in place via Wootton.
Havenstreet Main Road has been closed by Island Roads between Stroud Wood Road and Firestone Copse Road following the build-up of surface water.
The temporary traffic regulations order came into an effect at 08:00 this morning and will remain closed until surface water has been cleared.
The diversion route is via Newnham Road, Quarr Hill, Elenors Grove, Kite Hill, High Street, Station Road, Briddlesford Road, Combley Road to rejoin Havenstreet Main Road.
