The Bus Stop Cafe in Branstone is to close at the end of the month, it has been announced. Those behind the unusual stop-off at Holliers Farm, serving homemade food and cakes on a yellow double decker bus, have said that the past 15 months have been a ‘whirlwind’, with both highs and lows. The last day of trading will be 30th May. A post on The Bus Stop Cafe has said:
“The highs have definitely outweighed the lows, and we have loved serving all our customers, whether they be one-time visitors or the regulars that we have formed relationships with. “Thank you if you have visited, your custom really did make a dream come true”.
It’s been hinted that the cafe may be able to start up in another location in the future, but nothing has been confirmed. UPDATE – Holliers Park says that the cafe will remain closed for around a month, before new tenants take over for the Summer.

Should have left the 2 very nice cake ladies in there.
I go passed daily and thought it had all been closed years ago.
It has not been hinted that the cafe may open in another location. The original post says that the people running it may see customers in another place in future. Clearly another premises, the bus doesn’t move. You’d know of you’d ever been there.
The Pub Bus in Freshwater Bay is a gold mine, full of
Booze Monsters on a regular basis.
