The Mall in Brading has been closed this morning (Tuesday) due to emergency repair works by Southern Water.
Island Roads say that the closure is in force from the junction with New Road (Bull Ring) for a distance of 32 metres.
Motorists are unable to turn left off Bully’s Hill and down towards Brading High Street. Instead, all traffic is being diverted via New Road.
This is to enable Southern Water to carry out emergency repairs.
Diversion route(s) will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.
