A 56-year-old man from Brading has appeared in court accused of slapping a 14-year-old girl on the backside whilst she was waiting for a bus in Sandown.
Allan Pearce, of High Street in Brading, appeared before Magistrates on Friday morning charged with sexual assault. He also appeared on a charge of common assault.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on Station Avenue, Sandown on 2nd January this year.
Liz Miller, prosecuting, explained to the court that a group of teenagers were waiting for a bus when a male walked down the street towards them. The male proceeded to slap the victim’s bum before walking away.
Pearce pleaded not guilty to the charge of sexual assault and the case has been sent to the Crown Court for trial.
The matter will be heard at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 22nd August.
If I had seen that I would have given him a proper slap. Instead the courts will do nothing. Time for some instance justice for these a holes.
You now know his name and where he lives.
go on then…
Will give the magistrate a sob story probably tha the is partially sighted and wasn’t aware.
Chop his hands off
God only knows, and any victims of course, what else such a pervert has done.
Let’s hope male members of the girls family have more say in the sentencing as time is on their side.
Yay, he’s got a right cheek.
innocent untill prooven guilty.
YOU Do know that the bloke has pleaded NOT guilty right ???
That means, NO magistrates.
He must go to real court, with a judge and jury.
To hear HIS side of the story, right ?
For all we know HE could have been the victim of a gang of unruly drunk teenagers.
