Police were called to a residential address in Ryde earlier this week (Tuesday) where the body of a man in his 50s was discovered. Officers were called at 10:25 on 13th February with concerns raised for the welfare of a man at an address in Amherst Place, Ryde. Officers attended the scene having forced entry to the residential address and discovered the body of a man in his 50s inside. Resources from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary remained at the scene for some hours after the initial response. The man’s next of kin have been informed of his unexpected death and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.
