Blackgang Chine is inviting local children to step into the spotlight as it launches an exciting new children’s ambassador programme for the 2026 season, Blackgang Buddies.
This brand-new initiative will see a group of confident, fun-loving children become the official faces of Blackgang Chine’s content across the year, starring in a brand-new mini video series across social media, taking part in themed challenges, and featuring in promotional photoshoots used across printed and online campaigns.
From “Littlest vs Largest” and “Battle of the Lands” to food challenges, adventures, and playful park missions, the Blackgang Buddies will help bring the magic of the UK’s oldest theme park to life through a child’s eyes, full of imagination, laughter, and personality.
As part of the programme, each selected child will receive a family season pass for the 2026 season (March–October), giving them plenty of opportunities to return to the park throughout the year to create content and be part of the adventure.
Blackgang Chine is looking to cast a mix of children aged 6-16 years, who are local to the Isle of Wight or able to visit the park regularly across the season.
The team are searching for big personalities, confident characters, and children who are happy to have fun on camera and get stuck into challenges. Around 10–15 children will be selected.

This seasonal ambassador programme will run from March to October 2026, with children appearing in content across the year as part of Blackgang Chine’s storytelling, marketing, and creative campaigns.
