StoneCrabs Theatre has announced the highly anticipated arrival of Joe Carstairs at Quay Arts. This captivating theatrical production has taken London by storm and is now making its way to our stage for a limited engagement from 3rd-5th July, shows starting at 19:30. Joe Carstairs is not your average biography play – it’s a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of an Isle of Wight boat builder and racer who fearlessly challenged societal norms and lived life on their own terms. Written by the talented duo Franko Figueiredo and Krysia Mansfield, Joe Carstairs delves into the entwined narratives of the legendary Carstairs and the modern-day playwright Hik through word and music. It is directed by Selwin Hulme-Teague and Robyn Lexi,  and musical direction by Catherine Warnock, this production seamlessly weaves together the past and present, inviting audiences to ponder questions of identity, lineage, and the complexities of love and support.
