Bottom-of-the-table Binstead were beaten by 4th-placed Shanklin at the Molehill, losing to a 94th minute winner from the away side.
After a scrappy goalless first half in which Shanklin missed some clear chances, Binstead captain Darren Powell gave the home side a late lead by converting a corner (1-0).
With time on the clock running out, Ben Gregory equalised for the away side (1-1).
Binstead needed the 3 points to have a realistic chance of escaping relegation, and threw everything into attack, including their goalkeeper.
However, Shanklin had the final word, with Corey Sanderson popping up to score the winner in the final action of the game, with the referee blowing his whistle for full time at the restart (1-2).

Binstead’s defeat leaves them 7 points adrift of 9th-placed Bembridge with only 3 games of their season remaining.

Niton knocked 3 past Sandown at the Fairway, with Cruz Wragg bagging a brace and Brandon Thomas on the scoresheet for the visitors.
