Bembridge & Vectis booked a place in the Isle of Wight Senior (Gold) Cup quarter finals by beating West Wight at Camp Road on Saturday (18th October).
Ben Cutts scored the opening goal of the game after just 24 seconds by running on to a through ball from Tyler Greenslade then dispatching the ball into the near post (0-1).
Cutts than bagged his brace in the 12th minute after receiving a through ball from Dexter Malin before going past the right back and dispatching a shot too powerful for the West Wight keeper to hold (0-2).
Jamie Barratt then added a third for the away side a minute before the half time interval by dispatching a left-footed volley into the bottom right corner of the goal (0-3).

Bembridge & Vectis continued to threaten in the 2nd half with Barratt striking the upright with a free kick.
However, the away side were unable to add to their margin of victory. 12 minutes from the full time whistle, Casey Tyrell scored a consolation gosal for West Wight.

Zak Sullivan scored the only goal of the game as 2nd-placed Binstead maintained their 100% record by beating Newchurch at Watery Lane.

Braces for Robbie Shepherd and Josh Gwilliam plus a further strike from Jack Butler saw Newport Reserves overcome Niton at Springhead. Oliver Mcloughlin (X2) and Sam Hatton were on target for Niton.

3rd-placed ECS defeated Pan at Clatterford Rec courtesy of goals from David Chiverton, Aiden Jones and Blake Reeves.
