The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was scrambled to a medical emergency at The Duver in St Helens earlier this afternoon (Monday).
Resources from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to Duver Marina, following reports of an ongoing medial emergency, at around 12:15.
Given the coastal location of the incident, HM Coastguard crews from Bembridge were mobilised to the scene, to assist in the rescue efforts.
Island Echo understands that emergency crews were tending to a patient aboard a visiting vessel.
Due to the location of the incident, Bembridge RNLI’s All-weather Lifeboat was also paged to the scene.
After around 45 minutes on scene, flying doctors returned to the helicopter and left the scene.
The helicopter crew didn’t convey a patient to hospital.
