Australian drum & bass legends-Pendulum are to perform on the Isle of Wight this August as Strings Bar and Venue announce final headliners for their show at the Adventure Park.
Formed in 2002 by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul ‘El Hornet’ Harding, Pendulum quickly took to the road, touring across their native home in Perth to internationally acclaimed clubs and festivals around the release of their seminal debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’.
After relocating to the UK and forming the Pendulum live band, El Hornet took the reins on the Pendulum DJ Sets and has spent the past 15 years performing at some of the biggest electronic festivals in the world including Liquicity, Let It Roll, Rampage, Dreambeach and EDC.
Now alternating between the band members, the Pendulum DJ sets have taken on a life of their own with a huge global presence and genre-spanning shows ranging from drum and bass, house, techno, tech house breaks and hardcore.
Co-owner of Strings Bar & Venue, Andy Booth said:
“We have been working on this one for sometime and so glad that we can finally reveal a huge start to our outdoor shows at Robin Hill. This is going to be an incredible experience in the woodlands and we will be making sure the scene is set for everyone to have the best time.”
Pendulum join the previously announced headliners Tom Meighan of Kasabian on Saturday 15 August and Scouting For Girls on Sunday 16 August to complete the line up.
All tickets are now on sale via the Strings Bar & Venue website www.stringsbarandvenue.com as well as the app – which can be downloaded on both Apple & Android app stores.
